Dear Deborah,

Good early morning lovely lady. Guess you finally get to see the "real" me. I've enclosed a picture taken last week of me & Nancy. I NEVER allowed pictures of the obese Roy. You are welcome to put it on the website or let anyone you want see it.

Major Nelson called me in early. I got quite a few stares at my answers to her questions. NO visitors the last week? Huh? Death Row George - he may be planning to be bad. (big ass smile) You could see it in her face. NO witnesses? Same look. NO meals? The funny one - clothes size? NOT NECESSARY. (HUGE BIG ASS SMILE). NO spiritual advisor? NOPE. Are you sure on all this? YEP!! :-) So, I'm all set - cremation paid for - Nancy is in charge of everything - and no more having to follow orders after Monday's visit 3/19 with Nancy. Girl - I'm so ready to check out of Hell's deepest hole that I wish it was tomorrow.

I saw Mike Gracyzx (?), from the Associated Press today/Wednesday. He seemed genuinely puzzled that I even received a death sentence. He kept asking how they could say I deserved to die. Kind of blew my mind. We will see how the article - if there is one - comes out. I was impressed with him. He has a complete dossier on me. My roypippin.net page postings, my pro se motions, briefs, writs, etc. in his file on me. NO rehashing how I got involved in the big stuff - he already read ALL of it. NO blame game. So we will see how it goes. When he asked what I wanted to say to the world, I hope & pray I articulated my statement to sound like I felt it in my heart. Again, we will see. He could cut me to ribbons but some how I know he will not treat me that way. He knew - how I don't know - that I'd helped a lot of men on the row with legal work, writing their attorneys, helping them to learn to read & write, etc... I was impressed at how prepared he was.

Nelson is letting me buy the full $30 worth of stamps so I will be stocked up without worry of running out. (smile) I let my account stay low just in case I went postal. I don't see it happening now. I'm too at peace with my escape from this existence. The last day is a different story. I will go out the way I came in - naked as a jay bird & screaming!! :-))))

K-Loc (Parr) is sending you an update on how Nichol-Bey's last days went. He wrote Lee - Nick's mom - and got the low down on everything. If I can't be accurate in my description of events I won't write about it from now on out. I'm sure you don't mind my giving Soffar & K-Loc your PO Box address. It's not an invitation to them to be your pen pal - I think it's their way of trying to support me & show their love for fellow condemned prisoners. Speaking of which - I'm sad to inform you that "Mangy Dog" Brian Knight (Patrick on the list) #999072 got a 6/26/07 date. He was coming in on a van at the time I came in from being weighed. He will be over here tomorrow (frown). I still don't understand how the U.S. can train a soldier like him to kill and then allow them to put their life on the line for his country and then kill them. It makes no sense. How can these people vote to kill him Debbie? How? I've lost numerous friends here who served in Nam or were enlisted to fight - and Texas kills them anyway.

No news on my appeals. Makes you wonder if they are waiting to see if my protest kills me (smile) or they are waiting - thinking I won't have time to appeal their ruling? Jokes on them. I've already filed all of it and have the 1983 lawsuit in the works. I'm even typing up & keeping on memory, a Motion for En Banc Consideration if/when the CCA shoots me down!! :-) I will be the proverbial thorn in their ass. (smile)

What else? If you want - I will type up my unreal voyage thru the Texas Fix, personally speaking, of incompetent, unmotivated, ineffective and markedly uncaring attorneys I endured from trial to final appeals. I will put names, charges to the state bar on several. and even the one K.S. Gator Dunn who got dismissed under 2261 (e) - which says: if a prisoner shows the attorney is either incompetent or ineffective at any stage of his federal prosecution - the court, Sua Sponte, or by prisoners motion can have the attorney dismissed. Gator was ruled incompetent & ineffective and is still being given DR prisoners cases on appeal. The b _ _ _ _ needs to be run out of town and I'm just the guy to do it. (big ass smile)

Okay - I will close - finally. If you can't stand to look at my picture - use it as pest prevention (smile) Deb - I do appreciate all you are doing for me and my friends on the row. Surely God will bless you with a long and love filled life for your big heart and loving care. You are a true blessing to us all. I am a better man for having met you & cherish these few weeks together.
