STRGGLE AGAINST THE BRUTALITY OF GOVERNMENT AGAINST OUR FELLOW
HUMAN BEINGS
BY BERNARD MITCHELL
Any system that fails to take onto account human differences will in my opinion, cause injustices.
It is beyond imagination what our fellow human beings and brothers must be going through in the Polunsky Unit in Livingston, Texas. Where they are being tortured physically, mentally and spiritually by a brutal and vicious government system, by sentencing them to death these governments who are implementing these practices. Who are committing these premeditated murders against our brothers. They have to wake up; we are not living in the medieval times anymore. It is 2007. The people in the world are moving or have already moved away in most parts of the world from this brutal system. This is why I believe the DRIVE Movement is here to stay and to take these government assassins out of that deep sleep they are in. Most of these assassins which are being paid by the government to commit these brutal crimes know nothing about human rights, or even about their own constitution!
They are only doing these assassins for the money. As long as they are being paid they are willing to impose the most brutal and torturing force against the brothers, especially in the Polunsky Unit, Texas, without reason. It is our duty. We who believe in real freedom and justice to DRIVE these government murders to a standstill. These injustices and inhuman practices they are busy committing against people just like us.
Look what they’ve done in the beginning of December 2006 against the brother in Florida. Where that botched execution took place. In one of the most brutal circumstances possible. According to media reports after 34 minutes the brother was still alive, struggling against the Government killers (contract killers) because they are paid by the government. But they continued torturing the brother amidst his struggle. I believe these criminals who did this to this man should be charged with murder, torture and violating the brother’s human rights and the governor of Florida should be brought to book for complicity to murder.
Let us continue this non violent struggle against these injustices done by the government. Until the fight is won. Make your life significant by what you do to add by the coming together of humanity. The only significance that life has is what you do for more than yourself. If at the end of your life all you’ve done is just for you, your life will have no meaning because when your life is over as all of us will face that point one day where our life ends. The only point that will be of remembrance is what you did for more than yourself to stand for human rights and dignity. Get up, stand up for the rights for those who cannot speak for themselves. Remember people, remember people that stand for something!
May this poem encourage the Brothers!
“If I can endure for this minute
Whatever is happening to me.
No matter how heavy my heart is
Or how dark the moment may be.
If I can but keep on believing
What I know in my heart to be true,
That darkness will fade with the morning
And that this will pass away too
Then nothing in life can defeat me,
For as long as this knowledge remains
I can suffer whatever is happening;
For I know God will break all the chains
That is binding me tight in the darkness
And trying to fill me with fear
For there is no night without dawning
And I know that my morning is near.”
But I will not leave the fight.
